What is MicroMonster?

MicroMonster is a multiplayer fantasy role-playing game for your mobile. The number of players is not limited. You can play with every available combatant. The chances to win essentially can be influenced by choosing an individual strategy with a smart and strong equipment (weapons, armours and artefacts) These selected pieces of equipment and the right time to use them make your monster and your strategy unique. How long does one game take?

One game, actually one fight, takes ca. 3-6 minutes, depending on the quality level of the fighting monsters, weapons, armours and so on. Of course a MicroMonster has to be equipped first and trained on a bot or a quest. Analyzing the potential and weakness of an opponent boosts the chances to win!

The overall play time is unlimited. New monsters can be leveled up all the time and the MicroMonster cards: Fancard can proudly be collected.
The MicroMonster game can be played as long or as short as it is fun to you.

What is a MicroMonster?

A MicroMonster is your character, the one you play with. You can choose a monster from different monster characters, build it, train it and level it up to the highest ranks.

New monsters can be downloaded directly in the game from the merchant.

How can I challenge other players?

Go to the Main Menue, choose Arena and pick an opponent. View his attributes and evaluate. Request a fight with Attack and start!

How can I use other weapons and amours?

Take a look at your weapons or armours in their submenues (Weaponry and Armoury). There you can pick a weapon or amour you will wear. Before wearing the items have to be purchased in the merchant's shop.

Example how to wear a weapon:

Go the Weaponry menu and choose More weapons. Pick a weapon and choose Wear to wear the weapon.

How do artefacts work?

You can view your available artefacts in the artefacts menu or all artefacts here: Artefacs. Get to know the different effects of the artefact and whether they work active or passive.

Install artefacts in the free and open slots of your weapon and armour to increase their capabilities. Then you can use these artefacts in the fight and pick one before an attack (e.g. "Holy Light" to blind your opponent during the attack). The effects of the artefacts last for different times. Smartly picking the right artefact at the right time as a whise strategy will increase the chances of succeeding.
The effects will be shown and might last for some rounds.

How do I improve the capabilities of my monster?

The capabilities will increase with every fight. Even if you lose, you will get points and better capabilities for your monster.

What is a quest and how does it work?

Quests are tasks which can be solved with your monster. Gain capabilities and win additional items with quests!

How might quests be useful to me?

Quests train your monster and increase the capabilities which will be usefull for further fights. You can play quests as single player offline without any Bluetooth (TM) or mobile internet (GPRS) connection.

How can I reset the tutorial text and view it again?

In the Main Menu choose Options and activate the option "Tutorial". Then the tutortials will be shown again in the particular screen.

Why did an opponent get away !?

Probably because he was scared to death from seeing you - actually he did not respond in time to your request as shown in the blue time bar on top in the fight screen. This will negatively affect his ranking.

How can I get MicroMonster to my mobile?

Here on the website go to Downloads >> MicroMonster game.

Pick a MicroMonster and click Buy. Follow the short instructions and within a few seconds MicroMonster will appear on your mobile.

Does MicroMonster run on my mobile?

Playing MicroMonster on your mobile requires the following prerequisites:

Java Mobile Edition, standard MIDP 2.0+ (Mobile Information Device Profile).
UMTS or GPRS - connection incl. correct configuration.
At least 1MB heapsize (for Java) on your mobile.
At least 350 KB free storage space.
Bluetooth(TM) (optional)
Using the Bluetooth(TM) connection is normally free of charge. The technical specification is JSR-082

How can I activate GPRS / UMTS on my mobile?

The activation process for GRPS/UMTS depends on your type of mobile and your mobile network provider. Some providers support an automatic configuration of GPRS/UMTS by SMS. A manual configuration can be done in the basic settings of your mobile.

In case you couldn't find help here please read the operations manual of your mobile phone or contact your provider or phone manufacturer.

CAUTION: Sometimes GPRS will only be activated after requesting it from the mobile network provider.
The network provider charges costs for the data traffic. Please get informed about the costs before playing. There are already low data rates or flat rates for GPRS available.

What can I do if the storage is full?

The storage of mobile phones is limited. Freeing memory can be done by deleting other applications, images or sounds in some devices. Alternatively you might consider the unfortunate deletion of other gaming items in case you want to purchase new monsters, weapons or other equipment.

What does Login-Error mean?

The "Login-Error" appears in case the chosen name of a monster already exists or the password is incorrect.

Name of the monster already exists:
That's a pity but another name needs to be chosen. Go to the Arena and your name will be reset. Then you can pick a new one.

Note: Here under community Rankings you can see all monster names or query names and then decides for a free one.

Incorrect password:
Start the game and type the correct password or receive it by Email in case you lost it. (Lost password)

Question regarding billing and costs

How much does it cost to play MicroMonster?

You can download the game MicroMonster for FREE! Only download traffic costs for ca. 300 KB to your mobile phone occur. (Get to know data traffic costs from your mobile network provider.)

Additional MicroMonster, weapons, armours, artefacts or quests can be purchased with Gold.
The basic version when you buy MicroMonster provides you with 100 Gold. In case you want to charge more Gold, you will receive 300 pieces of Gold for 2,99 EUR by Premium-SMS or 325 pieces of Gold by PayPal(TM).

The actual game play is free of charge. Once you connect to the game server, costs for the data traffic depending on and charged by your mobile network provider will occur.
You can only find out about these pricing from your mobile network provider. (costs for data volumes of ca. 50 KB per fight)

TIP: Many provider offer low data rates or flat rates. Learn more about the rates from your provider.

Please note that these charges might differ from country to country and provider to provider.

Connecting players by Bluetooth(TM) is normally free of charge! You can play as long as you want without additional costs.

How much do monsters, weapons, amours and artefacts cost?

The prices for weapons, monster and other equipment differs and depend on the particular features (e.g. size, strength, quality). You can find the prices here in the website: MicroMonster, Armours, Artefacts (the Gold symbol) or at the merchants place in the game. For instance there are many artefacts from 5 Gold and so on.

Sometimes you can be lucky and find a weapon or another piece of equipment. These items are for free.

How does the clearing work?

The purchase of the game by Premium SMS will be cleared with your mobile phone bill, as well as charging Gold by Premium SMS. Biting Bit's service provider appears on your bill.

Cost for data traffic via GPRS or UMTS will be billed by your mobile network provider (O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and so on).

Charging Gold with PayPal(TM) will be cleared by PayPal and your account there.
